1. Service Agreement

By accepting services from Vero Pest & Environment (“Vero”), the Client agrees to these Terms and Conditions. Service begins upon verbal, written, or electronic acceptance of a quote, estimate, or work order, or by allowing Vero technicians access to the premises.

2. Scope of Work

Services will be performed as described in the invoice or service report. Any additional services not specified will require separate authorization and may result in additional charges.

3. Access and Preparation

Clients are responsible for ensuring safe and reasonable access to all treatment areas and for following any preparation instructions provided prior to service. Failure to do so may limit treatment effectiveness or require rescheduling at the client’s expense.

4. Safety and Liability

Vero uses only Health Canada–approved products applied according to label directions by licensed technicians.

Clients must:

Keep people and pets away from treated areas until advised it is safe to return.
Notify Vero of any allergies, sensitivities, medical conditions, or other concerns prior to treatment.
Report any pest sightings or treatment concerns within the specified warranty period.

Vero is not liable for:

Reinfestations due to untreated adjoining units, poor sanitation, structural deficiencies, or failure to follow recommendations.
Damage resulting from pre-existing structural, electrical, plumbing, or pest-related issues.
Indirect, consequential, or incidental damages unless caused by proven negligence.

5. Warranties and Limitations

Warranties (if applicable) are specified on the invoice or service report. Warranties are void if:

Recommended follow-up treatments or preparation steps are not completed.
Untreated areas remain accessible to pests.
New pest sources are introduced (e.g., infested furniture, stored goods, or neighbouring infestations).

6. Payment Terms

Payment is due upon receipt unless otherwise stated on the invoice.
Late payments are subject to 2% monthly interest (24% annually) or the maximum allowed by law.
Vero reserves the right to suspend or cancel future services for overdue accounts.
Payments returned for insufficient funds are subject to an administrative fee.

7. Cancellation and Rescheduling

Appointments cancelled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur a service call fee.

If Vero cannot complete work due to unsafe conditions, lack of access, or failure to prepare, the visit may still be billable.

8. Service Reports and Records

A Service Report will be provided after each visit, detailing work completed, materials used, and observations. Clients are responsible for retaining copies for record-keeping and regulatory compliance where applicable.

9. Confidentiality

All information about the client’s property and pest issues is kept strictly confidential and used only for service and safety purposes.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Alberta.

11. Acceptance

By accepting or paying this invoice, or by allowing service to proceed, the Client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
